LOCAL COOKING
"Local Cooking" is a national cooking competition where the chefs compete to make the best fish dish with a selected species of fish and local ingredients.

"Bjesk of the Year" 2025 was awarded at the Hirtshals Fishing Festival 2024 in an exciting local competition among bjesk enthusiasts.

Herring of the year
This year's Herring 2024 has arrived in glass and has gone on sale. It was Restaurant Lilleheden from Hirtshals with Ejvind Kjeldsen Jensen at the helm, which won the Herring of the Year competition for the 11th time.
